The new DC Comics “Peel-Off” logo was obviously created for DIGITAL interests as it can be animated so that the “D” reveals the “C”. But if in PRINT, should I be seeing an optical illusion? The ORIGINAL logo - beautiful! There’s dynamism behind the whole design - it’s exciting! The font is tilted, so it gives off a feel of action. The star/comet gives the impression of it spinning round, also reminds us of Wonder Woman’s star. Color is blue, very engaging & hip. Finally, it spells out DC clear as day!The NEW logo - without “DC Comics” text underneath, it’s difficult to see/read what it actually stands for. There’s nothing interesting about it other than me wanting to peel-off that thing. BORING, you get a kick out of it a few times but it gets old after a while. The font looks heavy, as if it’s standing stock-still, so not what comics is about. But we’ll see, there might still be another surprise behind it that DC has yet to reveal, hey?
