I have been off the drawing table for a total of 4 days (I was already having withdrawals on the 4th).

I blame the hiatus on getting a bad grade for my previous Final on The Female Figure. I only got an 80% & about a dozen corrections! I did some self-analysis & reviewed my work. I realized it’s something I don’t want to look at for the rest of my life. It’s horrible! I deserved the bad grade!

Still, I consider myself lucky because 80% is a passing grade, after all & I got a recommendation to proceed to the next subject, which is The Human Figure in Motion.

So, on the 5th day, I rose again. As any persistent artist would, I dusted off my drawing table, flattened a few sheets, picked up a pencil & began to draw again.
